On Friday April 25th, the Archon X PRIZE for Genomics will partner with the St. Louis Science Center to celebrate DNA Day, created by the National Institutes of Health to educate students about the wonders of DNA and its importance as the basic code of life. The St. Louis Science center has scheduled many kid friendly, interactive events, including making DNA bracelets, DNA tattoos and cheek cell swab experiments. Visitors can also watch several performances of a play about the Archon X PRIZE for Genomics or chat about the genetic traits of dogs with the breeder of Uno, the beagle who won “Best in Show” at the 2008 Westminster Dog Show.
